Hi all

Do any of you photoshop experts fancy a little fun?
I have just got a new van and am in need of some sign writing designs.
Below are a few pictures of the van in question from the side/front/back that need to be sign written.
I have added a couple of pictures of my leaflets to give some idea of fonts/colors/wording etc

I want the website across the back bumper
and the logo on the bonet

If you fancy giving it ago it would make me a very happy boy as I dont realy know where to start.

The winner will get their design put on the van

LOL not quite what I had in mind, I think that would suit waterless valeters or supermarket car washers better ;)

I will keep it in mind but dont hold your breath

I shouldn't really be spending time doing this, but as I like things like web usability and conversion optimisation, I wanted to show a quick design, you can work on the final imagery, but here are the important points:

- Display business name as web address, and make sure it's very easy to read. Make sure v can be understood as a v.

- State directly underneath car valeting, make it large enough to read, so people know what you do. (Wouldn't be necessary if you had a generic domain ;))

- One phone number displayed in large text, I'm guessing mobile is best.

The lowered version reminds me of the lowered car belonging to the young mechanic at the garage I go to, he has the slogan on the bonnet
"lower than yer granny's nipples"
Not a pleasant thought, but amusing.

what a good idea ,points to remember :

>the name isnt blatantly obvious what line of work your in ,so you would need to add "valeting + location" ,or come on wayne you should be able to pick up a local geo domain and give 10% discount through your site ;)

>i got charged by my leasing company for removal of stickers on a works van ,after 3/4 years they do leave a mess.

>having your prices on the Van will become troublesome ,change of pricing structure ,unless you have a few different prices of clear stickers for the rear window.

i know somebody who has advertised on the back of his local town's car parking ticket ,10% off whilst they are parked in town ,he earns a very good living from it ,and it snowballs ,people approach him whilst working :p and turns down loads

hope this helps

vinyl wrap it.. with the bubble background.. it will look awesome and it protects your paintwork

I was thinking about getting it wraped like a big spounge LOL

accelerator is spot on as far as memorability/likelihood of actually delivering a "conversion" is concerned. All the others are too complicated and/or overwhelmed by too much information.

A lot of companies truly underestimate the power of advertising on vehicles. I have my van out today for a DELL warranty job and while filling it up at the pump I was approached by 2 separate people asking about the stuff I do (IT, Networks, Web)

In fact I can attribute over 20% of my business coming off the van.
