Does anyone know of a decent video/Image sharing script that i could use in a specific niche with the option to allow users to upload their own videos but more importantly populate with youtube videos until its popular??

PHP Melody is great for video, you can grab and embed videos from almost all of the big tube sites inc Youtube via the admin panel.

Users can also 'suggest' video - which embeds the video link given and also upload video direct.

I take it you know you'll need a dedicated server and a hell of a lot of bandwidth etc for proper video hosting?
