My username, Oasis,Coldplay take up the majority of my ipod, although they is also notable and strangely enjoyable appearances from the following

Take That
Westlife
Pink
Rihannia
Jon Secada
Adele
Depeche Mode
Bobby Brown
Young MC
Grandmaster Flash
JayZ

Warning the next few sentences mean i am a grumpy old man who has turned into his dad!

I do like wide range of music , but can not stand the the utter tripe that passes for UK Rap, where the hell has this stupid accent that they use come from in the last few years?

Love old school ( i am too old to spell it skool) rap Grandmaster flash,Young MC,NWA etc don't even mind some modern rap stuff, have JayZ Kanye West on my running tunes.
But this UK Rap stuff drives me mad.

I also find most pop stuff now a days all the same, bit of singing, odd key change, rapper in the back ground going repeating what they say and going chyeah, come on, yeah yeah......they then they do a bit of rap and back to the singing, total drivel imo.

How has this happended? i am my dad!

When my daughter was about nineteen, we were listening to the then latest Oasis album and on one track she said "that's Golden Brown"
then "oh, no I've turned into my Dad!"

When was your profile pic took ? 30 years ago ;)

I am 33 and torn between listening to some TUNES..... or something more like the Red hot chilli peppers and Radio head, I do like music with real instruments played in them especially bass guitar.

Even though I have a wide range in taste of music, nothing ever tops Pink Floyd,
Loved them since I was 16 and just missed out on seeing them live at Earls court :-(

I have seen Roger Waters live though :p (front man for Pink Floyd)

RIP > Syd Barrett and Richard Wright
