Has anyone else had sedo cancel a transaction after the buyer paid in full?
I sold a domain (.uk) 7th Sept, buyer paid in full 22 Sept.
Started transfer to email address specified various times between 25 sept and 13th oct. Buyer never responded. Kept in touch with sedo asking them to contact the buyer to confirm email address.
Pointed out to them, that since they were not getting a response from that email address and neither was I, it was probably safe to assume that he wasn't reading that email address. Suggested they contact via phone to find out what the problem was.
Chased up via sedo contact on here, 4 days later sedo say
<quote>I have just tried to call him myself, but unfortunately got no response. The problem is, he is is in Australia and the time difference limits how often we can try to call him. We are doing all we can, hopefully we can get the domain transferred soon.</quote>
Wait 2 weeks, no sedo reply, 23rd OCT I chase up to ask for an update - no sedo reply. Send email to Joanna Birch, Sedo cancel transaction 3rd Nov. No reply to me, not explanation, nothing.
Now here's what's really peeing me off, sedo have the buyers money. I bet they will deduct their fees from the buyers payment before refunding them , so why should they make any effort to resolve this. Doesn't matter that they are screwing over a customer does it, they still get paid.
