Will this link count?

Hi,

A local transport site in Harlow has agreed to add a link banner in the header of his site, back to Harlow.co.uk

harlowride dot co uk.

It appears his site uses frames... Will this stop the link counting?

No it will work fine.

The only time you have problems is with iframes from indexed sites. But iframes used solely for that page will be fine.

On that site it wouldn't matter either way - the part in a frame is indexed also. View the source of the original one and paste the url of the frame into a browser (its domain/indexmain.html) and you will see it is indexed. Better to be in the top part though as its seen as the main page.

If you end up with a link stuck on an iframe that is not indexed, just point links at it and its problem solved.
