00:47 the lot went it seems :)

I was still loading up my names, but looks like dropcatcher had a bumper day. Should be a few happy dropcatcher customers today :p

Bet everyone will be hitting the DAC hard tommorow at 1am :p :p

Thanks, they all seem to have dropped between 00:46 and 00:47, just been to get a drink, came back and thought my script had crashed as it had stopped sending queeries to the DAC.

Was pleasantly suprised when I saw what I'd caught :) , I was in 2 minds whether to even monitor wrf.co.uk as I'd always been beaten by the usual suspects in previous attempts at 3 letter .co.uk , others names caught:

officeleasing.co.uk
electricalrepair.co.uk
prcompany.co.uk

Think a lot of catchers were caught off guard, notice the DAC seems to have been playing up a bit in last couple of days.

Bet Chris and Ronnie at Dropcatcher are happy, best day they've had for a while.

Wasn't even looking. I thought Nominet days were in GMT.
You learn something new etc.....

From Nominet

It was either a side-effect of the work over the weekend or a problem - we are still looking at it.

Jay

Wonder how many will start their scripts at midnight tonight :D

main beneficiary seems to have been nokta

Well a good days profit for Chris and Ronnie as well. Good 25-30 catches.

That's what I mean... dropcatcher already had the cash, but a lot of the good catches from chc had nokta as the registrant.

How does one "catch" these dropping names?

Where does one find out where they are dropping?....Does this cost? Can anyone do it? Are they all snapped up straight after midnight? Is this GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) or other time zones?

You lot are the "l'experts" - care 2 share??

What have you been reading on here for the past 4 months?

I just can't believe that it's by "trial & error"...that can be right!?!

Surely when the domains drop there is a list somewhere?? - no!.....?

Can't one of the Domainiac-Brainiac's from AD (the UK's best domain forum) ;) ....help with this!!

Should someone set-up a service for this?

Can one pay for a list of these names? And if not, why not....???

Lexiconfused!!!
