    Certified Offer Service

Well just a followup. I did a counter offer the same day as I posted the above, in the mid $xxx which was accepted fairly quickly. Just received the cheque today. So if anyone gets an offer via NS, allow around 5 weeks in total.

    UK Whois Lookup Tool

Nice tool, If a domain is shown up as free, instead of showing it as "UNREGISTERED" why don't you show "Register it Now!" as a hyperlink to a 123-reg affilliate URL.

    Ssl

Has your client got an internet merchant account with a bank? If so look at protx.com as a payment processor. You will not need a SSL then. Just done a site using them, very reasonable charges and helpful.

By "effective marketing service" do you mean just a website that listed the domains, or a pro active service that tried to find, and offer, domains to possible buyers?

    Cheapest Registrar ?

Quite possibly, IIRC if you register an Italian domain (.it) you have to give either a company number (if a company) or your NI number (if an individual)
