All the success!!!

How much is that worth?

It all depends from the ego of the buyer.. There is no really a price for #1

We have a number of snooker fans here.. do you guys know how much Jimmy White paid for his car plate "CUE 1"?

Well its worth nothing to me as i coudlnt do anything with it :) but to someone else could be worth thousands.

Ha! But how much could it realistically be worth?

I did send this info to a couple Welsh business owners I know, they skipped this. I would price it at least 50k, where 100k is an ok sell price as well.

it is all about the "ego" in this case

.. imagine, if you sell as a pair together with the number plate "1 WALES" or "WALES 1" :) .. an ultimate ego boost.. you really need to have balls to claim to be the #1 in a region like Wales.. or, is it better to use the word "country"?

@BG how much would you list it for?

.. 1.xyz was reported to be sold for $182,971, though doesn't seem to be a real sale as it is still on an Afternic lander

There is a mention that in 2011 Nominet auctioned short .co.uk domains; 12 single-letter domains averaged ~£39,000

the story is also featured in Financial Times https://www.ft.com/content/8c996da4-eb8b-11e0-a576-00144feab49a .. though, strangly I am unable to find the Nominet press release on this.

Superb domain!! Can't believe it was available at an auction for such price.

Not so strange. Whoever looks after the Nominet web properties has no concept of retaining valuable previous assets. Many really useful and valuable documents are simply discarded at every refresh. It's infuriating.
