123-reg newb

I've just registered a domain with 123-reg for the first time as I usually use ukreg, and am a little unsure as to how i change the dns to park at sedo?

I gather I go into the manage dns screen
but do I change the cname and txt fields? @ and www and if so is it
the 2 different ns ip's i put in i.e. ns1 and ns2? or just ns1 twice?

I don't use 123-reg so don't know exactly what it looks like, but you need to find the bit that lets you "change the nameservers" and not the bit that lets you "manage dns"

Log into your account
Select the domain and "Modify Domain"
Change NameServers
In the Nameserver 1 Box: ns1.sedoparking.com
In the Nameserver 2 Box: ns2.sedoparking.com

I've 400+at 123, just go to web forwarding, and type http://www.sedo.co.uk/parking/your domain
also 'cick' non framed box above.
for email forwarding, type webmaster and in other box your e mail address,also 'click' 1 to cut down spam
the web forwarding page is great to put words in for search engine to find, I use it all time for www.123z.co.uk, so you can see result ,after 3 years.
I think it is bset to maintain control of your domains at 123, you can change parking host as fast as you can type, if you want.
For me I find sedo ok.

123-Reg is a good registar, but their UI is pretty pathetic by all accounts.

There are loads of bugs which require you to contact 123-reg to sort it.

For instance if a domain previously on the 123-reg TAG expires and you register it with 123-reg when it becomes available the domain for some reason stays in the old owners account and it errors at the point of registration.

Also if you change the IPS tag, the domain still remains in your account even though it is no longer with 123-reg so you end up with an account full of domains you can no longer control, I could go on all day with the flaws at 123 but the fact remains I still think they are one of the best around.
