Hi Guys,

Just a bit of an unofficial poll, but when setting up co.uk domains - are you finding Europe better for click throughs or All Regions? + does All Regions pay higher if clicked on?

Any help would be great
Sean

Hi DB,

I don't really want to ruin your poll, but I'll put in a quick bit on All regions and Europe here while our 80-question FAQ gets implemented :)

The distinction between AR and Europe is really only for optimization purposes - i.e. which ad regions will show what optimization settings. So, if you have the keyword "cars" for 'all regions', and leave everything else blank, then all regions will show ads for cars. If you then set keywords for specific advertising regions, then these will override the 'all regions'. So if you set 'cardigans' for 'all regions', but 'cars' for Europe, then it'll have the exact same effect as setting 'cars' for all regions and leaving Europe bland. Sorry blank. Slip of the finger.

In general, for UK names, you'll only really need to set a keyword for 'all regions' or, one for all regions and one for the US if they use a different expression (e.g. Real Estate and Property - resume and CV etc. etc.)

Ed

Edit:
Sorry, this is a poll. I only use 'all regions' to optimize my (shoddy) domains.

Thanks ED for your expert explanation; Its good to hear what ND say on this.

I thought we would run a unofficial poll, just to see what other domainers are experiencing ie.. swop and change some time to keep and achive the best results.

Cheers guys
