Hello

It seems in past couple days the average PPC is well down from what is was in May. Is that just a blip in June or vice versa I wonder ?. Any ideas as domains are same ?. (just so you know the account its one I sent you email on re .co.uk was on someone elses account and domain was mine). Im posting on here rather than email coz then get input from others and saves barrage of emails to you.

Thanks
DG

same here down 50%. Time for some adjustments I think.

as google do the PPC rates and farm the adverts I would think the only thing that ND can change is their percentage cut? - perhpas Ed deserves a porsche this month? ;) kiddin ed

Low PPC = Ed's new Porsche

Hello Everyone,

Ed has entrusted me to post on AD while he is away caravanning through Italy in his new sports car...

Seriously, I just wanted to update you guys on some possible trends:

1. From time to time, PPC will drop as the week progresses. Remember, Google runs keywords on auction model, when the top bid has been clicked away, the next highest kicks in and since most advertisers have weekly budgets on spending, you will generally see declining PPC as the week progresses.

2. Summertime will see a slow down in advertising, traffic, clicks, and business in general. Expect declining returns until everyone is back recovering from the World Cup, family vacations, etc. Hate to say it, but you will likely see a fair drop over the next months. Just a cyclical trend over which we have no control. I can suggest to everyone that summertime is a VERY good time to replenish your portfolios if you can and concentrate on brokering.

3. Which leads to my third point, we are gearing up for a big brokering push over the next couple of months at ND. As you know, we don’t buy domains as a rule (we leave that to our main european competitor), we see it as a major professional conflict of interest, but we do have many buyers approach us for domains. We do ask that the domains be parked with us as we can then independently confirm the traffic on the domains. Anyone looking for names to be brokered, please let us know.

I will check each account individually in this thread to see if there is a different explanation for the lower PPC.

oh, and one last thing, if you are looking to double or tripple your parking earnings, visit our homepage and join the ND Klick-Off!

If you find yourself in Germany and need a place to watch the games, please contact us as we have a fully stocked projection room for viewing each game.

Thanks again,
