Hope this is the right place to put this!

On Saturday morning around 11am I changed nameservers on 29 domains using Heart's bulk domain manager. Sunday morning I got up to find they had been changed not to mine that I put in but to Hearts and therefore pointing to their holding page!

I immediately went through each domain individually and changed the nameservers to mine.

Now, 24 hours later, For 6 of those domains I am still seeing their holding page, and when I ping it still pings their ip (should be 91.####). I have done flushdns and no difference. Now one person says he can see the site. I am very concerned and have clients screaming because they can't see their site either.

Could you please tell me if you see Heart's holding page on the following

Papillon Club
Welcome to Health Diet and Fitness
Ideal Christmas Gift
WSN Links
Nikon D90
Welcome to The Dog Scene

If everybody still sees Heart then is it really still a simple matter of waiting?!

TIA
Jill

These are the only two showing the heart holding page for me:

Papillon Club
Welcome to The Dog Scene

Thanks, well that's something, even if those two are the most important sites where the client is shouting!! [sigh]

Anybody else see those two? Apparently one of the clients visitors for papillon club says he can now see it, but then why can't I?!

Thanks folks. At least now I can tell the client that, even though she can't, others can see her site :)

Just hope I can soon as there are some updates I have to post on her wordpress site!

All showing as a website for me, although WSN Links is displaying a few mysql errors.

Thanks. I still can't see that site so didn't realise.

Have fixed that now - on the move over to new server the permissions got missed off!

May be obvious, but does she know how to fully refresh her browser, ctl+F5 ??

Thanks, yes a bit obvious ;)

I do not see the site either. we have both...

flushdns
cleared browser cache
refreshed (ctl+F5)

but STILL do not see it - maddening! :(

Unfortunately, DNS servers these days are cached a lot - and no amount of refreshing at the user end does a blind bit until they are flushed out (usually 24 hrs, but sometimes can be a multiple of 8/12 hrs)...

I get the same problem often, including today!

One workaround is to use the A record in DNS to point to the IP of your webserver for the time being (ie: www A 92.3.22.120) - this will usually update immediately.
