I came across this interesting article on why the Chinese love number URLs. Before I read it I just thought they were totally crazy but now it all makes sense.

https://newrepublic.com/article/117608/chinese-number-websites-secret-meaning-urls

And it works! I looked at the number system and made up a sentence 519 = I want Alcohol
Went to 519.com and there was an online shop selling booze!

1 means “want,” 2 means “love,” 4 means “dead” or “world” or “is,” 5 means “I,” 7 means “wife” or “eat,” 8 means “get rich” or “not,” and 9 means “long time” or “alcohol.”

LOL

517 can mean either... "I want food" or "I want wife" LOL

so 177.com would either be porn or cannabilism?

Better article here:

We sold 1898.com a few weeks ago meaning ‘Once Rich Forever Rich’ :)

Another one 1396.com is now a lottery site:

They also use their phones more often in China and ‘Pinyin’ numbers. In particular they use WeChat instead of phone numbers:

5.20 is like Valentine’s Day
