I am a coffee lover i have got a Franke coffee machine ,

These machines are amazing and tbh i dont really have any need to go to startbucks , or costa anymore :)

The one your looking at is a good model .

I have a Bosch Tassimo at home and in my office. The pods are easy to find in Asdas and tescos.

Look at the flavours available and availability, not just the machine itself. I have a pal with a Philips Senseo and I have to bring supplies back from France as they aren't available here.

It can get expensive but cheaper than going to Costas!

Good luck

I have a small and cheap DeLonghi which works well, but I'm sure you can't go wrong with a Gaggia.

Had one of these for a few years now. Has made just under 5,000 coffee's so very very happy with it.

Edit: Thats since we got it fixed and the memory wiped, before that it had another 3,000

This is an old model, so obviously go for a new one like a classic, however it is a solid testament to gaggia's quality.

Reading the first few lines I had visions of this, as I'm not a big coffee drinker ;)

I've got the most efficient coffee machine on the market. I call her the wife.

I have a Gaggia Classic, and so does my old man. Really good, although I can't comment on other machines.

You'll need a good grinder, and it's well well well worth the money as the finished cup is much better. Then it's about sampling different beans. Keep them in the fridge in a sealed container.

Now if I have a Costa (which is horrid) or Starbucks, I can tell the difference, I just drink expresso now, you get a real taste for it. No puddings, just coffee!

Enjoy, good investment.

Thanks yep,

I have heard that the Grinder is really important and some of them cost more than the machine itself lol.

Well i still have not bought a machine, but i got some beans from hasbean and got the French Press out.

Haven't drank coffee in a while and just had a strong cup and i can feel the caffeine hit lol

I recently bought an AeroPress and I'm very pleased with it. Definitely the cheaper option compared with those linked here but for someone who knows little about coffee, it's been a real eye-opener!
