Deleting Just Got More Difficult

Now people can see what's just dropped, easier to use, more having a butchers, it just got more difficult. I've got used to looking at the lists a day before anyway now, I got most of what I wanted over the weekend.

Well its a catch 22 guys - I was getting emails saying please could you add the new features........

Then when I did it becomes easier for people to find names

What would you suggest ? make it a subscription service ?

You can please some of the people... no that's not it

"when you make a change someone will always moan"

hehe that's me, did my 3 mile jog/crawl this morning, beautiful day, sun shining, had to moan about something. I'll adapt. ;) Edit: I'm surprised it isn't subs based but then I guess that leaves way for competition that wasn't there before.

Erm, have I lost the plot here? Why is seeing the list in time order making anything more difficult?

Yup I thought that two?? Its a great feature

It's easier to sort, less hassle, more will pile in. It doesn't matter if you do your research before though. It's sunny, don't be so serious.

So you're saying that everyone will see what was deleted after it was deleted.
Thats ok, but by then if it was worth anything the chances are someone will have already registered it using dac.

Obvious worth maybe. I'm sitting on or was at the very least, several thousand pound that I've declined after catching those names DAC users weren't interested in or happened to miss. So in retrospect I'm now sitting on nothing.

I wish I'd sold them at the time of asking but nevertheless my point whilst a cheeky comment at the outset is true, in latest order more will go for what I chance after once or twice a month but it's a good upgrade, columns should be orderable anyway and yes perhaps subs based as well.

But it's on namepros I think, a good name and its owner are never parted, I went for good names aint parted much even with offers on the table, you live and learn, I learned but as usual I have to learn my own way. Now I want rid of a few, the buyers aint there anymore or I'm not contacting enough people.

Times don't look to be too accurate, so if you monitor whois (or whatever you do) then i'm sure you can still get there faster than someone just monitoring deleting.co.uk for updates.

Looking at the caught times at least, some of the domains I caught yesterday we caught at least 6 hours before the time given on Deleting.co.uk

Its nice to get them in that order, however, I've spent a lot more money today because of it ;)

Naughty!

looks good to me! nice one :)

the whois buttons are buggered though (in firefox anyway, not tested ie) ;)
Hi guys

Try forcing a refresh of the page in question. We've changed a lot of the CSS and JavaScript over the last couple of days. If the old files are still cached then that probably explains why you're having problems.

Cheers

Matt

OK Lee, so I see what you're saying, but I thought that the deleting list only showed what had dropped and been taken rather than dropped and was free?

2nd, what is the quality of the original list that deleting is using. I've caught a few really good names in previous weeks and been waiting to see the tag up in lights on deleting only to discover the next day that it never even made it on the list.

I think it is much better for deleting to use their DAC quota looking for new domains than wasting it on the subsequent willy wagging list.
