Im using it but its too early to comment. I have added some names but have not had the time to play around with keywords and the like.

same here..... To get best out of it you will need to spend some time getting right keywords (which I haven't yet but will).

Whilst it is nice and tidy to have all your domains with one parking company I've come to the conclusion that it is worth signing up to all/most of them as certain domains will perform better at differnet parking co's.

To get the best returns on each domain you do need to give it a bit of thought though can't just add and forget.

I'd say certainly worth giving them a go.

Disruptive - Aren't affiliate links frowned upon unless they are admins?

DomainParking.co.uk - Well Done!

Can I be the first to say well done to the owners of Domainparking.co.uk

Finally we have a domain parking service which not only delivers but is also based here in the UK, about bloody time, good move guys. After testing your parking service over the past 2 weeks i can now confirm I'll be moving the rest of my names across later today (User ID 1473) especially after seeing a 30% increase in revenue. From what i can see your using a Yahoo feed, is this correct? or do you also use other providers to? regardless I'm happy with the conversions. (keep the money coming)

Also, not that I'm spying :p but I like the template for www.ibiza.com , seems like your getting some nice domainers joining your network, contratulations.

Feel free to up my % or send me some gifts (User ID 1473) If your reading this :)

Keep the good work up as we need to represent here in the United Kingdom.

Do you have an example of one of your names parked there to look at the landers?

As Rob says Netking, please show us an example of one of your domains so we can see how the pages look compared to the competition.

Thanks

lyndella.co.uk will be updated on their system shortly, depending on how fast they OK the keyword I've just entered.

But wow, how much control do you have over that thing. Just about got everything covered with regards entering your own meta tags and keywords, plus removing and adding links. Plus more that I can't remember.

I have entered one name to see how it goes and depending on how that goes will move some more.

Rob an example of one of mine is findatradesman . I have set every link you can see individually on the home page including my banner at the top. Like I said above to get the best out of it you need to spend a bit of time setting up links. This particular domain has existing traffic and its fairly obvious from the name what type of links to set up but I'm finding that isn't quite as easy for some names.

I too am impressed so far, support is also very good.

mixed experience there...

After some early favourable comment on Namepros about this firm, I decided to try out my sole co.uk domain at DomainParking

On the positive side: the account was approved swiftly. The support tickets I filled were responded within good time by Kate

One of those tickets was the first problem I encountered: a lack of a preview function (= the mag.glass icon in Sedo, NameDrive) of the optimisation, meaning type-in visits to check it out.

That revealed the bigger issue - the relevancy of the delivered links (and no featured ads) was poor, and after changing of meta tags, keywords, default search etc. since, it's actually deteriorated, until today the entire site content is pure miscellany (e.g. a featured link to Manchester United!). DP doesn't appear to offer any internal help with optimisation.

Previously I had the domain parked at Sedo, then NameDrive. The domain is a targeted business niche, and NameDrive's ads and links were mostly relevant.

Has DomainParking had similar issues to those which have hit some other parking firms recently? I really wanted to support them as a co.uk-site.

Interesting first post esatyrical - I wonder where your from? :D

I heard DP were the highest paying at the moment as they have a international Yahoo feed. Unlike the others on Google smart price.

Also i'm sure they will do any template you want if you ask them....

Originally London, living in HK past xx yrs

Agreed, those were the sort of positives that made me sign-up. Unfortunately the total disconnect between keywords and page content has compelled me to move it back to ND.

On the subject of the chosen keyword having no bearing on the results shown, how do I get rid of the first landing page?

styner.co.uk for example.

Lands on an unrelated page, I want it to go straight in to relevent adverts but no matter what permitation I use, I cant get it to work. Is it possible?

Any updates on this service

Anyone have a view on domainparking.co.uk? It's been approx 2 months since the last relevant post on these guys -- I have joined and am interested to hear how they stack up to the competition...

Thanks

Me too....

You obviously have a good degree of automated management - meta et al... are you getting sites in SERPs

Dave - I see "Find a tradesman" is ranking well ...

Do you get a chance to put any copy on page.... e.g. a short 50 word intro that can be used in the SERPs?

TW

You can set....

1. Meta Desc

2. Meta Keywords

3. ALL of the links on the page can be set to what you want (see findatradesman - I set them all by hand on that).

4. A page for custom content (not HTML though). If this content is supplied a link to it appears at the bottom of the parking page labeled 'about'.

I set all these once on a few domains then lost it all due to changing templates, my own fault, however it is really something that I ought to take advantage of again just haven't yet found the time with only 24 hours in a day and I need at least 2 of those for sleeping.

I've seen some good results, however I've found that individual domains will have a "best" parking company rather than one company fits all if you have the time to do analysis and customisation to get the best results. It all depends on whether you just want to change nameservers and forget it all spend some time getting the best out of each name.

Dave

I tested a couple of domains again and was extremely disappointed by the landing page delivered despite using simple financial keywords. Admittedly I didn't do any tweaking...but then I don't either on ND and manage to see relevant ads delivered.

However, the domains I did park for a few weeks scored far more visitors than on Sedo or ND, though without clickthroughs.
