Just searched for him and it says you can't view his profile because he is not registered ?

Looks like he as ran off !

I sense trouble down at mill.

please don't take away me Acorns

Time to update vbulletin I guess, using old versions is asking for trouble! Hopefully you have recent back ups and I have changed my details.

Take what?

EDIT: You can also do a force password expiry in the admin cp, which might be worth doing.

Is gaining access to someones CP enough to delete their own profile?

Foz, I had a look and it doesn't seem to be in the user cp... Looks like an admin cp / database only thing.

It isn't possible for a user to delete their profile and unregister themselves on vB. This is admin CP only.

More likely a compromise (eg SQL inj) has occurred via the outdated vB software here. I have a lot of exp with vB, happy to help if needed.

Seems that edwin may have been moved to the guests group? I'd check he is in the members group in the Admin CP.

Maybe his subscription to exclusive ran out and it moved him back to the guests group instead of members?

Great idea ! :D

Subs not renewed normally revert to previous member group. Or should do.

If a user is unregistered or deleted via the AdminCP they are put back to a guest status. Which then makes it harder to delete their posts if they have any, rather than use the vB tools to do this.
