A quick payment update.

The wire payments went out today, await them with glee.

However, we contacted Paypal three weeks ago to check that everything would go well for the big push today - we wanted to do Paypal a little earlier than the 10th to repay you all for your support - and they said everything will be "fine". On Tuesday again, they said everything will be "fine". On Thursday, yesterday, despite having had all the money in our account for some time, they said everything is "not fine". Sorry Paypal earners. The US is also on holiday on Monday, so the earliest Paypal payments can be made will be on Tuesday, possibly even Wednesday.

The payments will be made tomorrow.
Wire transfers should have arrived / arrive today.

i know my meager amount for the end of last month is not significant but i cant find it through the interface either?
i have nothing for any date? - should i?

so under Payout Summary select last month, 3 months, 6 months etc - should i be able to all/any of the payments?

according the portfolio summary i should be getting
US$ 6.812
for the dates: August 1st - September 30th.

but the the Payout Summary info says: No payout activity Totals 0.00 USD 0.00 USD 0.00 USD for the same dates:

That's because you haven't met the min $20 payout I assume.
 
The payout summary is on the way :) We wanted to get the payouts done first. We have everyrthing stored, don't worry Charlie. That 6.812 will be added to your earnings for October and paid out in full, ON TIME next month.

Incidentally, we got our first confirmation of payment today. Anyone else got their wire?

Just to confirm I received my Namedrive payment (direct credit to Natwest) yesterday.

You know, I recently saw a DS advert on DNJournal saying 'On-time payments for 2 years'. Now they've been going for five years, so that means that in those three years, they had payments that weren't on time...

What I'm trying to say here is that we feel massively let down by PayPal. We were so intent on getting our first payments out on time - especially with PayPal as that's 'easy'.

Our status, after several days, is now "processing". We are told we can access the money tomorrow (Thursday).

Many apologies again for the delay, we did all we could to get the payments out on time but have been let down by money people.

European wires have all been received, so it's a good start...

Every business has teething problems. In some ways it's worrying if they don't as it seems to good to be true. When you say you will access to the money tomorrow when does this mean that we will get the money (or is this not worth asking given your past experience of Paypal?)

Deep exhalation...

The money has been 'processing' since the weekend. Fine, Monday was a bank holiday, but the money left our account a good while ago and we are at a loss as to what PayPal are doing with it. Bathing in it most likely.

I am really, really sorry guys. I'm sure you can imagine that we are more eager than any of you to get these payments done. We'll be keeping an eye on the account 24/7 and as soon as they finish 'processing', we shall start paying out. Maybe in time for Christmas.

I feel foolish apologising as we haven't really done anything wrong, but I can't think of anything else to say.

I'd like to say 'maybe later today'. But I fear 'tomorrow' is more likely. It is so frustrating, but there's nothing we can do. We've already done enough hoop-jumping and nob-pulling, bell-ringing etc. for an army of circus seals, but PayPal are not renowned for their responsiveness. Like I say, we're watching the account 24/7 and as soon as 'processing' moves on to the next phase, the money's out.
