I'm after .co.uk hotel domains.
eg:
town/cityHotels.co.uk - Leedshotels.co.uk
town/cityHotel.co.uk - Leedshotel.co.uk

.co.uk only please. Hyphens considered. Foreign cities acceptable.
Let me know what price you want. No "how much will you me give for" etc.

He's not obliged to give you an explanation. Probably not much search for Skopje Hotels or whatever it is you have.

You offered me a mini site which I was not interested in. I replied to your PM and told you this.

I don't like your domain. Whilst it may be a capital it is not what I want.
Look at the stats on the google keyword tool.
See how many hotels Laterooms have for your domain? Answer = One (1)
Do I have to buy every domain people PM? NO buyers perogative

IMO any buyer isnt obliged to explain why they dont want to buy your domain... I have offered many domains which fit the buyers criteria but dont demand explanations as to why they dont buy..

There are plenty of good tourist guides and travel agency websites where this city is extremely popular. If you rely on "Laterooms" to judge the quality of a domain then I would question your judgement. I've been there myself and its economy is largely based on tourism nowadays- hence there are many, many hotels there to choose from.

P.S. it has an obvious alternate spelling which is relevant to the website through its content (I know you were only after the domain), so it actually has high search volumes associated with it.

My judgement is spot on as I won't be dealing with you. Not now or in the future. As I have already said do your homework. I don't care if you have visited Berne or own the city but why should I pay for xml dev work with a different hotel provider to please you.

You hand reg this name in Feb 2009, put some poor content on then ask for £300! You are part of the reason this forum is declining. If no one buys your name you throw your dolly out.

Well the feeling is mutual. You may have been "in this game" a long time, but you're very quick to reject a domain based on the results of one website? I am very well travelled and have a good geographical and sociopolitical knowledge of Switzerland. Trust me, it's more than one website can tell you! But alas, we are all set in our ways. Your loss.

If the website & domain are that good then why are you only selling it for £300?

Nice little current affairs knowledge there, but I doubt you could point to it on a map :wink:. The website and domain are a little development project of mine. £300 is a fair indicator of the quality based on the city in question and based on the traffic the website receives at the moment. It's a young project and maybe Bluerock has done me a favour by allowing it to mature. Maybe one day it will find the right buyer... But of course I will have been gagged, bound and shot by Somali pirates by that time.

Where is traffic from?

It's not even in the first 3 pages of goog uk for 'berne hotels', it has no backlinks on the term only get 590 local exact.

and needs some seo and tlc !!!!

... The traffic is not really relevant to the price (other than if it was getting considerable traffic I would have increased it) because the website itself has been around for about a month, if that. It should therefore be no surprise that it isn't listed early on Google or even properly indexed yet for that matter. The whole reason I mentioned that it wasn't "just" a domain to the OP was that it is rich with original content (so yeah- it's not an SEO/TLC issue) and this should help pull in more traffic than say, a parking page. But I did make reference previously to "letting it mature" for a reason. He was after the domain itself, didn't like this one. Fair enough.

I have a domain but it has hotels(nameofplace).co.uk not (nameofplace)hotels.co.uk, if was for my clients project but he decided to go for just the (nameofplace).co.uk instead, so it redirects to the main site.

Just checked and the domain keywords has 24,000 searches a month.
