How can this be?

i came across a domain in the park and sell section that had over 60000 visits in the last 30 days and revenue of over $500 so i decided to do some research, the results dont add up. The domain is not ranked anywhere, alexa, google, yahoo etc, it has absolutly no links and its direct type-in value is zilch, so where is the traffic coming from? All i can think of is that the visits might be redirects, in which case when the auction is over and the redirects are taken away the winner will be the proud new owner of a domain that has about as many visitors as the Accrington Stanley trophy room. Apart from sleep, am I missing something?

Do you mean the domain name with the 'top' in its name, if so if you install seoquake for firefox you'll see a load of stats for it alexia, waybackmachine & various other links.

Hi Zootex,

On archive, the name has a history stretching back to 2003. The name has vast amounts of incoming links and I believe was a popular forum in the past. Although the name looks somewhat unpremium, it was something to do with Kuwait and I think you can see the reference to Kuwaiti in the name.

Thats the domain alright Ug, Ill download seoquake later tanx.
I did run it through Alexa and Compete and Domaintools and 1 or 2 others but i could`ent find any ranks or links, i also tried to veiw it in Archive but it tells me that the owner has it blocked,, im still a bit lost but ill get there, any other good tool suggestions are welcome, tanx.
