Update — a few things since my last post here:

Hit a rough patch: some of you would have seen real hangs/500s on the droplist over the last couple of weeks. Traced it to a database query joining a table it didn't need to — fixed properly now, not just patched. Made a round of other database changes aimed at speed too, so it should generally feel snappier.

What's new:

- Watchlist now works exactly like the droplist — same filters, sorting and expanded rows, including search volume and Domain Rating on your own names.
- A public stats page — namechase.uk/stats — upcoming drops, plus catch rates by ending and by name length.
- Ahrefs Domain Rating shown alongside search volume on the droplist, with its own range filter, still more metrics comming later.
- Filter panel redesign — plain Show checkboxes instead of Any/Yes/No, and regex is now a proper mode in the search box.

Biggest change: it's coming out of free beta onto paid plans (Bronze/Silver/Gold, from £5/month) — this was always the plan, just wanted to get it worth paying for first. For anyone here who's been following along, code ACORNDOMAINS at checkout gets 50% off your first 3 months.

Yes, CPC is on our list. It'll be Google's top-of-page bid range, in pounds, for names with real search demand. Very obscure names won't have one, because Google has no ad data for them, and we'd rather show nothing than guess.

A few other things we're hoping to add:

More metrics
- Open PageRank authority score
- Wayback Machine history, showing when a name was first archived

Majestic and Moz
- We'd like to offer both, but the data behind them is expensive, and it's not something we can justify before NameChase has paying users. So they're not on the near-term list. If either would make a real difference to you, do tell us, as that helps us decide.

Other ideas we're exploring
- Pre-made watchlists, such as every 1–3 letter .uk and .co.uk name
- Curated keyword lists (UK towns, surnames) to monitor
- A page showing where each number on the site comes from
- Names that dropped but weren't caught and are still free
- Registering avalible names in-app, longer term

I can't give you a firm timeline, but we aim to add at least one new metric a week, and what comes first depends on feedback from people using it. So tell us what you'd find most useful.
