I would appreciate your appraisal and also any suggestions as to how to market this.

For me this makes me think of some kind of cleaner software, like a registry cleaner, or malware cleaner etc...
Maybe you could contact the owners/authors of some lesser known cleaner software and tell them you want to market it under your name and see if they will rebrand the software for your domain etc... and then sell it on your site?

Thanks for the interesting idea! To be honest, it is not something that I will probably every carry out, as I am trying to concentrate my focus on one thing for now, but definite food for thought.

I have got iFinancing.eu since 2006 and not luck with sale so far, but I still believe it has a value. So I would say iCleaner.co.uk may be "high ticket" for end user, as chemical / cleaner manufacturer / reseller, etc.
