Who operates Internet Gmbh / Domainname.de / Nominet registrar INFO-AT?

It's an established business but I wondered if people here know the name of the person who is in charge there?

Incidentally, they got a HUGE haul of registrations in the RoR in July. A really huge haul, including many very good domains. they certainly know how to catch domains. Do they provide a catching service generally? Did they catch them for themselves (most of the caught domains - 1000s - are for sale on their website)?

I'm impressed, and also curious?

Thanks.

I thought SEDO was an auction house. They were catching names as well?

INFO-AT got a huge 4-figure haul of RoR .uk domains in the first 5 days in July.

Whoever catches through them is good at what they do!

Do we know if they were catching for themselves or for clients, paying for their catching services?

During the ROR drop the largest members used subsidiary companies to auction the names:
  • Web.com (Group) used Snapnames.com
  • HEG.com (Group) used Godaddy auctions
  • United-Internet.de (Group) used Sedo.com
Then using their 90k Nominet RoR quota: https://3million.uk/open-letter/
Each group signed up as many tags as they could across the group.

When it came to United Internet they didn’t signup 1&1 or Fasthosts etc. Instead they got this guy to do it: https://schillmann.com

I have no idea why the Austrian Registry (.at) were involved (DOMAINNAME-AT + INFO-AT):
https://icannwiki.org/Webagentur.at
I presume there is a connection with Sedo and this guy (seems to have mutual connections): https://www.linkedin.com/in/thomas-dolezal-324033150

Sedo used to do dropcatch for themselves via http://www.domcollect.com but that was back in 2012 though:

Today during a normal drop (with the DAC) they currently don’t catch names.
