LLL.org.uk CVCV.co.uk VCVC.co.uk available figures

Just a few figures for y'all, according to my scan today:


CVCV.co.uk - 4523 available (41%) - 10 months ago there were 4899 available

VCVC.co.uk - 7104 available (64%) - 10 months ago there were 7263 available

LLL.org.uk - 7854 available (45%) - No previous stats


What does this tell us?

1) There are sh*t loads of them left!

2) Most UK domainers aren't convinced by the false market created by .com domainers going nuts and buying up all the LLLL domains, so are currently not doing the same

3) I need to do some proper work!

The lists have been sent to everyone who requested one. It's a zip file, if you didn't get it then it may have been blocked by whatever Fort Knox like spam filter your email provider is currently using.

Hi, could someone explain to me what the difference between CVCV and VCVC is, why the two different sets of available numbers for each, surely they are the same thing with letters a different way round :?

If I wanted to buy mxmx.co.uk or xmxm.co.uk, why would one fall under one list and one under the other? And is their any benefit to buying one over the another?

mxmx.co.uk or xmxm.co.uk would not be in either list.

V = Vowel

Cheers Grant, well that clears that up for me Is it a bad idea to have all consonants in 4 letter domain names, or preferable to have at least 1 vowel in there if it's available?

In general 4 letter domains with at least one vowel in them make them potentially pronouncable I guess.
