Low CTRs - Any Help Appreciated

Hi

I have a couple of uk typo domains of faceb**k that are parked with Namedrive and whilst they get 400 odd views a month the CTR is only between 2 and 3%. Any suggestions on the best keyword & page setting to improve revenue ?

Or is it a case of the type traffic that this particular typo generates ?

I used to have a typo of a well known auction site. Got lots of views per month but sod all clicks. I think people are only interested in the correct site. So unless there is a clearly visible link to said site your not going to get many clicks. you could be treading on thin ice thoough

Dear All

I have had some advice which basically is that with this particular typo the best thing to do is to set a relatively high paying keyword such as 'date match' or 'advanced MP3' on the basis of trying to get those few actual clicks earning some reasonable revenue.

I have tried that suggestion with one of the domains and put other with 'park4money' with a site setting of 'dating' - I'll let you know in about 2 months times (given the current rate at which my other park4money sites seam to take to get indexed by Google) which approach is more productive.

I have a typo of an adult dating site. I get a 50% click through cos the 'real' site is always at the top of the featured listings. Why retype when you can click a correct link !!

Yes but how do you get the real site at the top? I had an auction site typo and used the keywords with and without the .co.uk and If I was lucky it would appear at the bottom of the page on sedo???
