Can anyone work out what is actually going on with Nominet pushing "membership engagement" at the moment?
First we had the Lyons review and 10 out of 19 recommendations were ignored. Only the membership engagement (section c) did the board accept - see http://AGM.org.uk
Then we get an invite to a quarterly webinar in an actual email to members:
Then we had the Director Registry Services say he is starting with a "blank page" on member engagement...
See https://forum.nominet.org.uk/showpost.php?p=6148&postcount=48
Then other people seem intent on killing off the Nominet forum...
See https://forum.nominet.org.uk/showpost.php?p=6228&postcount=53
Apparently the forum is only used by 1% even though 33% of members are subscribed to it.
Shall the "engaged" members just find another forum to communicate before we are segmented even further?
