Night Clicks?

I don't know if this has been covered before - but having tested a number of domains on ND this month, I've been surprised at the lack of page views between the hours or 0001 & 0900

If fact in three weeks I haven't had a single visit or click during the night.

I know in general you're less likely to get night clicks on .co.uk domains simply because the majority or the UK is asleep but to get none is a bit strange.

Anyone else have the same?

This hasn't been discussed on the forum before, but I had a long chat with someone about this a couple of months ago. I've had a root in my inbox and found the original explanation from tech so can paraphrase.

The long and the short of it is that the European 'today' actually doesn't end until the end of our servers' day - Midnight EST. Thus, your stats will continue to count for 'today' well into Europe's 'tomorrow'. We also show our stats with a couple of hours' delay, meaining there is always a time at the beginning of the day where 'today' doesn't seem to wake up.

The fact is that we distribute Google revenue as they feed it to us on a 24 hour basis. This means that even if we were only counting 20 or so hours out of the day - even if we counted 1 hour of the day - once we get the Google rev, you'd have some huge PPCs but the same earnings
Having said this, we do count every hour of the day in the stats. I think you can all verify that we don't turn off our parking pages at night. (intentionally).
