No more domain tasting?

This doesn't matter at all. You can still do domain tasting, you just can't earn on it in the first 5 days. Just see how much type in traffic domains get and only keep those with a suitable amount.

You cant "taste" UK domains anyway, if Nominet catch you deleting too many your TAG is at risk.

it's an automaton process as well. Physically won't let you delete more than 5/month, depending on invoice processing.

Sorry, my comments weren't about .uk domain tasting.

It was more the 5 days of no ads on .uk domains I was questioning...

How does that work then? By agreement with the parking co's? I've registered two (co.uk) domains and parked them on Namedrive for the time being. Not that I bought them for "type through" traffic (chance would be a fine thing!)

I thought it was 5 or 5%, whichever was greatest?

I have no idea how they intend to administer it but it's not going to be successful because people can still watch how much traffic comes into a domain and drop it as required or earn from it after the time period. As admin already said, UK domain tasting isn't a viable thing anyway.

it is... but you've got to go some to hit the 5% > 5. In general for all but bigger registrars (and when have they ever deleted a domain you've regged with them?) it wouldn't matter.
