Ok, Im kinda new and need a little help on domain names, I own 50 names which are all parked at sedo and they have been parked for approx. 2-3 weeks and they have traffic of 380 in total and a few pay clicks(not many tho) So my question is how do i get more incoming links!! Does it come with time, I have submited my ULR's on as many sites as i can but most of my them are not listed.
So how do i,

1,build up incoming links
2,get more "pay clicks"
3,get my domains noticed

P.s sorry to sound stupid but what do you mean by "developed domain"

Hope you can help

Hi mate,

Try www.namedrive.com i'm not on commission honest! But sedo are tight, i doubled my revenue and CTR with them over night. Customer service is fantasic. Ed at namedrive will bend over backwards for you and will email back immediately if you have a problem.

1,build up incoming links
2,get more "pay clicks"
3,get my domains noticed

1. Hard work really, try www.freewebsubmission.com, at least google will see yo then. But google doesn't like parking pages (IMHO)!

2. see above. People dont like parking pages, so CTR depends on design and the links looking like they aren't links... if that makes sense. You can choose design with namedrive, so i think that helps click through rate (CTR)

3. Getting youur name noticed is really about having a good typeable domain. Like www.subaruimpreza.co.uk would be more typeable than www.subaru-impreza.co.uk. Is typeable a word?

Hope this helps!!!!

Building incoming links and sedo policys

Hi, im quite new to this. i have 30 parked domains-all with no incoming links:((with sedo) and i really need to know:

Is it ok with sedos policys Terms Of Service to add my parked domains to freewebsubmissions.com and other similar sites

And what about linking to free online link directories.?

i ask because after reading sedos terms, there policys seem very strict regarding advertising.

Is it ok to do the above?

Any help is much appreciated.;)

Sedo Domain Parking Terms and Conditions

I just looked through Sedo's T&Cs, here is what it says:

Domain owner may not generate traffic to their domain name(s) or clicks on advertising links by any of the following methods: listings on newsgroups or discussion boards (with the exception of "domain for sale" postings), bulk emailing, ICQ postings, or chat room/IRC postings, iframes, zero pixel frames, hitbots, clickbots, spiders, CGI scripts, java-scripts, or any other similar method.

Parking domains and sedo policys

Hi, thanks for the reply.

But what does that include? or exclude? Can i submit my domains to link directories and places like freewebsubmissions

People have hundreds of incoming links to there parked domains, if there not allowed to advertise them then how are they doing it? and legally to - as sedo have counters to how many incoming links a parked domain has.

I really dont understand what is ok and whats not..

obviously there must be loads of incoming links that are ok to use- but what are they.....:(

I think if the domain has existing links they are OK, but you cannot create new ones once it is parked.

I don't know how they track this, what is to stop you promoting it everywhere for a month before you park it?

I am in a similar situation as peter250.
Any thoughts on using domainembarking and similar sites to build links and traffic and then changing to sedo or namedrive?
Even though my domain is parked I feel like I should still be able to drive traffic to it.
