I'm sure that I could increase my click ratio if the advertisers could be selected to at least be slightly relevant to the domain name.
In the right country would be a good start.

People typing in .co.uk are looking for something in the UK.

Even when selecting Europe as an area, I still get loads from Canada.

Hi FC,

We supply adverts to Google based on the IP address of the person viewing our pages. If someone from the UK is viewing your pages, Google will return any ad inventory they have for that advertising region based on the IP of the viewer. This is effectively the same as any manual work that we could do on our side. If you feel that the right ads aren't being shown by Google, it may be worth trying another keyword. Let me know the domain in question if you're still having trouble and I'd be happy to look into it.
