Did anyone else receive a mail regarding SedoPro?, thoughts/opinions?

Who is going to try it?

Not sure i'm going to bother in all honesty, Namedrive is working out quite well at the moment, I may leave a few with Sedo to see what it's all about.

Just wondered how far spread they are testing it?

It make you wonder how many others of us have enough domains to qualify?

seem they are going to be including traffic analysis for the select few.

its going to be no pain as

Sounds like Namedrive are rattling their cage a bit.

Decent competition in the parking game can only be for the best - it encourages innovation, keener payout rates and better responses to customer requests for service enhancements.

If they are going down the ND, route might as well go for ND, you can't beat the revenue share.

I am curious tho.

nope nothing yet, i dont expect much the ability to see the search engine results or the url the visitor come from will be good as we have suggested to ND.

Like our ND discussions its 90% about the money, if they pay more then we're going with them.

Yes, that's what it's all about at the end of the day...and for me, ND are slightly ahead of the rest (with UK traffic at least) at the moment.

I've replied to the email asking to upgrade the account, not sure it's going to have a huge impact on me staying with them much longer....we'll soon see though.

Enhanced Parking Program

I was quite taken aback by the amount of interest that this has created. At Sedo we are all very excited about finally getting Sedo Pro underway - however, it is very important to stress that we are currently in the initial testing phase. Indeed, this will be the very first time that we will have released this product beyond Sedo's 4 walls!

We view this initial phase as crucial to the development of Sedo Pro - admittedly the product that our testers will use will not necessarily be reflective of the final service - there will be areas that, upon testing, we will need modify and I am already aware of several features that we plan to integrate into the program in the coming months. The finished product will be very much reliant on the customer feedback that we receive. We will appreciate as many responses as possible so that we have a solid basis on which to shape any improvements, be it the layout or functions available. I would like to thank all of those who have accepted our invitation and hope that in the future you will be able to benefit from this new improved service.

I would like to stress that this is a test-run and we have chosen customers with whom we have regular contact - simply because we hope to receive feedback as soon as possible. There is NO question of elitism or that certain customers receive preferential treatment - once this service is up and running, it will be fully introduced to the market.

last message seems fair enough , new layout gives bags of info, [i'm too thick just now to take all in], I can see how they are trying to help , and with a little savy there is a lot of handy info to work out how to increase income , only trouble is what I can see , can't put into words , but sedo has put a lot of work into it and if matches service ,should be ok.

I joined on thursday and the stats beginning friday are up about 50% compared to the same days last week. I've added no new domains and done nothing differently besides the upgrade. One of the more promising features of the new program is the ability to see the actual referrers and origin countries for each domain. I was immediatedly able to monetize some of my foreign and crap traffic better with these stats. If you already have a Sedo account, its definitely worth the upgrade at least. I think sedopro members must have a higher revshare, though a sedo rep would need to confirm.

as this is honest forum, it is only fair to say that a commision is given for a 'sign up'. I can also do it but would rather let you know up front.Also it is supposed to be a personal recomend as to quality of domains ect., although if abused it would reflect as to integrity of originator.

i'm a very old and active member with tons of knowledge my monthly traffic exceeds 100K uniques so dont worry :wink:

not being active here doesn't mean i'm not active everywhere, i've done deals for 6 figures too and 5 figures all the time buying an selling.

simply , I do not know ,for me the phone call came out of blue the day after I answered e-mail [ I think ]. Personally I find sedo helpfull , although some of the stories on other forums are nearly libel, there must be a lot of 'agro' from our cousins other side of pond , who regard the net as belonging to them , and all profits go through them , and only them.
