So I sold a .com over a year ago through SEDO, whois still says my details, I've tried to contact SEDO but no success and want to get hold of the buyer.

Any ideas how ?

Tell the registry. I guess they'll end up deleting the domain name ultimately, but if a site is on the domain, they could switch it off to prompt the real owner contacting them and fixing the details...

Why wouldn't Sedo want to help pass the message. Would be good for everyone...

If you login to your Sedo account, domain sales will be listed in the transfer centre and under each name you'll find transfer documents and the purchase and sales agreement.

That will give contact details of the buyer and from that you can hopefully reach out to him / her.
