The Streamic parking programme (www.streamic.com) now looks like it's look for new beta usersl

I've been testing since the spring and have been delighted with the results - reckon it's been about 50 per cent higher than SedoPro across a range of names. Nice stats, very nice landing pages and responsive customer service. Well worth trying.

Stephen.

2nd'ed in a big way, i've got the majorty of my names there (Probably 75%)and on the whole I saw a big improvement over other services...mainly in the revenue dept which is what counts at the end of the day :)

Is Streamic wanting certain minimum thresholds from new account holders? A minimum number of domains in a portfolio (200 like SedoPro) or an existing minimum ppc per month earnings track record before accepting an account application? It says a maximum of 100 acounts at this time on their home page. What are they looking for an account holder at this early stage please?

I'm not aware of any restrictions. I suspect the maximum number of accounts is partly to due with an orderly management of the roll out to a full public version.

Stephen.

Agreed with the above, been on streamic for a few months and all seem good :)

Well then Robert perhaps you can let me know about how the stats are generated? Are they at a set time during the day or once a night?

Ive moved a few domains over and will watch with interest.

I dont know as I dont check stats hourly/daily - however they will text you saying monthly earnings ;)

Likewise on the whole the names i moved earn more than when at sedopro and people I recomended to streamic have found the same.

Being the 'devil's advocate'... Did some research:

IPwalk shows only 1800 + names parked? Reverse IP on DomainTools not brill either... Their site shows 28k+...

Appreciate not everyone parks but the ratios of what's stated on the front page and what shows in research are too big for me to believe, also IMO , the template layouts doesn't look brill...

Anyone from Streamic willing to come on here and explain things more?
Maybe willing to match previous 30days (old pak) with forward 30 days streamic minimum guarantee too?...

Not being a 'party pooper', just cautious, too much at stake...

UK based parking mainly so that could be 1800 com net org's etc . There is no zone to compare changes / dns on for .uk so anything in .uk would not be counted.

Looking at the 'trade' section it does look like 90% of names there are .co.uk which would fit what you are seeing :)

Rob

Thanks for that...

Reverse IP showed 1800 + including .co.uk's...

Is their a tool that can show forwards somehow?
Just the ratios appear huge... Parked to forward....

Be great if sreamic could come on the forum to tell us more and answer any questions... Are they members here?

Thanks for the heads up. Signed up and confirmed acount. I'll put my latest 100 catches on there and see what happens vs the competition.

How can they do that with .uk's ?

With .com for example a current zone can be downloaded, all the nameservers checked and lists made. There is no current zone for .uk thus no checking.

I think its the site making the 1800 claim that is talking bollocks rather than streamic :)

Not saying anyone's talking bollocks, just being dilligent...

Sedo ratio across the two tools shows 800k+ which for 5million they state now listed equates to a ratio...
It's the comparative ratios I'm looking at with comparative multipliers...

Used domaintools.com aka whois.sc Reverse IP tool...
Showed the entire list of what IPWalk stated...

Reason I'm digging so deep is I've just smashed the 700% presedopro/postsedopro barrier (no BS, happy for sedo to verify too) this morning...

With 25% on top that would give me a potential of almost a 1000% gain on
core names I'm using that were in my account at the changeover (not new reg additions) for the growth %'s I'm quoting...

700% increase? To be clear, before it was Euro 100 and now it is Euro 700?

The figures are examples only.

Are your recorded increases in particular sectors of the market? Finance, gambling et.c.?

What is your overall CTR?

Yep...

Adult and finace related...

Keywords, recent changes etc being a major key...

Literally month on month growth of the 'original' core...

Hello!

Hello!

Thanks for starting the thread Stephen and thanks to all the beta partners who have given us nice reviews, we hope it continues to be a good thing for you.

Hi wwwdomain.name, some of the research you have done is something we havent really looked at before. I am aware of the reverse lookup tools you mentioned but not fully aware of how they compile their figures.

The 1800+ figure is similar to the number of url forwarded domains we currently have - so perhaps thats where the figure is coming from (we use the format domain.ext.streamic.com for url forwarding).

Anyway, you dont really need to use those services :) just ask us.

29469 is the current total number of domains that have been added to Streamic and about 15% of those are url forwarded.

I admit that the landers are looking a bit old now, they have been good to us during the beta trial but need to be updated (which we are in the process of doing, any suggestions would be great :))

As for the claims made on the homepage about increases in revenue. This is based on feedback we have had from our domain partners and stats we have compiled on their and our own portfolios. We are due to publish a sample report which has been compiled showing the increases against sedo earnings on the site, this might help us substantiate what we have said.

If anyone is happy to corroborate or deny this (I know some of our beta testers use this forum) then that would probably help answer this question.

Cheers

Paul
