What software or system do you all use to submit your domains to search engines? And is it worth submiting parked domain names to search engines, do you see a marked decline in revenue if you don't submit?

Cheers. :D

None - you haven't had to submit sites for years now

You'll find that most of the time they're found automatically - but parked pages get no preferential treatment and will apprear well down the listings

You can submit manually, and google also have a sitemap option which i've found good :)

To get indexed by Google you just need a link from a site already indexed.

ah i thaught its some submission directory but they are offering some nice tools like site submission etc and i just downloaded few thanks.

If i were you, i wouldn't waste my time with SE submissions. You can submit to directories instead. SEs can pick your site from there. Also avoid auto submission. Always submit by hand.

I usually use free tools : _http://www.digixmas.com, it helps me a lot submitting my site to hundreds of directories.

anyone know free article submitter tools ?

thx before

Submitting your website to search engines is pointless if your web pages aren't optimized for search engines. Most likely, your web site will be listed at position 15,457 .
Some people or softwares promise to submit your web site to 10,000 or more search engines. There aren't thousands of search engines on the Internet. The majority of these 10,000 so called "search engines" are free for all (FFA) link pages or special interest web pages. Submitting your web page to thousands of FFA sites means that you'll end up with thousands of spam email messages.Currently, there are only four major players: Google, Yahoo, MSN Search and Ask.com. They are responsible for the bigger part of the search engine traffic you can get because they also power other search engines, for example the search engine on AOL.com displays Google results.

I recommend you submit your website manually to search engines once a month, before submitting your website optimize it then for google I recommend sitemap.xml , if you don't know how to make a google site map then simply visit Google Sitemap & Yahoo Sitemap Generator, Type your url or page name in the box and press submit.
Copy and paste the code created into notepad and save it as 'sitemap.xml', once your sitemap has been created just uploaded to the main directory of your web site, and simply use this URL to submit it:

w w w . google .com/webmasters/sitemaps/ping?sitemap=sitemap_url

Just replace the parameter, "sitemap_url" with the actual URL of your sitemap. Example:

w w w . google .com/webmasters/sitemaps/ping?sitemap=http://www.yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml

You can also open a Google account before submitting to make sure that you can actually track your submission to check your sitemap status.

https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount

also add robots.txt ( if you wish to allow all search engine spiders to crawl and index all the content of your website then just copy the following code and paste it in your notepad and save it as robots.txt then upload it to your server main directory where your website is);

# Allow all
User-agent: *
Disallow:

, click here to suggest a your site to google , yahoo suggest a site , msn submit URL , do not submit your website more than once a month to search engines other you'll be spamming and your website would not be considered to be listed on high rank.

Search engines use a variety of factors to rank web sites. You have to work on all factors if you want to achieve good results.
1. Find the right keywords for your web site
The right keywords are not always obvious. In this manual, you'll learn how to find the right keywords that will work best for your web site. It is very important that you target the right keywords before you start with your search engine optimization work.
2. Optimize your web pages for these keywords
Optimizing your web pages for your important keywords is crucial if you want to have high search engine rankings. Optimizing one or two pages is not enough. Search engines analyze all pages of your web site and they put these pages in a context. It is important that the combination of your web pages shows search engines that your web site is relevant to a special topic.
In this manual, you'll learn how to optimize your pages as quickly and efficiently as possible.
3. Submit your web pages to all important search engines and directories
After optimizing your web site for several keywords, you can submit your web site to search engines and Internet directories. Although search engine submission is not as important as it was (many search engines will find your web site through links on other sites), it can still help you to get your web site listed faster.
4. Get links from other web sites and make sure that these links contain your keywords
Links from other web sites are extremely important if you want to have high search engine rankings. Your web site must have good incoming links to get high search engine rankings. High search engine rankings are always the result of optimized web pages and good incoming
links.

For parked domains just get as much as one way linkbacks you can and it would be ranked.
