Google AdWords is running limited testing of a feature which lets its advertisers block domain parking sites which their AdWords ads will be served on; specifically ‘Domain Ads’ and ‘Error Page Ads'.

If Google rolls out full force with this blocking of the serving of advertiser AdWords ads on domain parking sites, this could potentially be a real blow to domain registration and parking companies, leading to deals with other paid search engines to fill the void.

hurrah hurrah!!!

get them mini sites, nice call out header graphics and affiliate links up on your trafficed DN's, quick before it catches on!! ;)

ive had 2 domains already blocked in past 2 days from namedrive. Could be the end of parking as admin says.

I've had 7 names blocked by Google with ND.

Not one of them for a valid reason.

Theres no question the domain channel at both G and at Y is of little significance now to either company.

Sean Moriarty left Yahoo, not replaced. Eytan Elbaz left Google, not replaced.

Certainly be interesting to see what transpires in domaining over the next 24months or so.

Well it will save the anger when I see a great domain wasted by been PARKED!
Good work Google!!!

No overly surprised and to be honest, it might be a move in the right direction.

Why would google do this, as they would lose a lot of revenue and advertisers themselves would lose business.

Surely G has to look at the long term future. If it is not giving advertisers value by placing adverts on click through pages then they will look elsewhere. What we all want is G to make sure that they secure those new clients who are only just testing the water with adsense etc. Think it's a good thing for us all.
