Tool for accessing the Automaton

Can anyone recommend a tool I can get / buy to simplify my use of the Automaton for registering, renewing, maintaining domains? Preferably something my secretary (who is not a techie) could use?

I have a half complete local system (works OK for me, but I guess I should really finish it), I'm trying to determine whether to continue with a PHP based local webserver system or to finish it as a Windows app. I plan to pick this up again soon now that the EPP system seems to be a reality.
