I am thinking of selling the Premium domain UkHotels.co.uk and site.

Site has been live for around 14 months, Currently PR 5, listed in Goog and Yahoo. The site works of laterooms xml feed.

Currently avgs 230 UVs per day.

Offers in £xx,xxx +vat.

All offers by PM only please.

Revenue has dropped over past few months.
Currently avg £300 per month.

However rev since nov 07 to present day = £19699

Do you know what percentage of those uv's are direct type in?

Hard to say with my stats.
If my memory serves me right before it was developed it received about 20 - 50 type ins per day.

how much of the pr rating is derived from the redirect from ukcomplete.co.uk ?

Probably None.

There are a few old domains redirected but they will have very little impact.

find that odd, as several backlinks showing in google from the bbc for ukcomplete.co.uk

well, looking at your other backlinks, the majority come from one of your other sites and virtually all the rest from "online" group sites.

the "online' group are the people who do the seo work...

I didnt realise it was such an issue for you where the backlinks come from??

Its an issue when those links can be easily pulled after a sale and what was a pr5 is ......................

And does that not go for any website that is sold??

If i puchased a site i wouldnt sit around hoping that it will stay as it is forever...

I personally would not remove any links to any sites i have sold.
However it is up to the buyer / new owner to continue development including link building...

When looking at buying a site, I always check out how the site has got its rating and where the links are coming from.
Of course I would not rely entirely on what is there now, but expect that a site with a pr of 5 would have a larger range of backlinks rather than the "engineered" and redirects that you seem to have.

I think it has a large range of backlinks.

I left i few old domains there and paid a decent seo company to seo the site.
It features high in serps for various phrases.

The traffic is either type-in or serps.

Is this not how most normal decent websites gain there traffic??

Look, its a good name but you are not selling a name, you are selling a site, and after checking it out it isn't for me for the reasons stated.
