Wanted: Domain Web Directory Domain Wanted

Hello Everyone,

I am interested in buying a domain that will be used for a paid web directory. Here are my specs:

(1) Must be a .com domain.
(2) Should be a well aged domain with at least 10 Google backlinks.
(3) Should have a Google page rank of 3 or higher.
(4) It would be nice if it had an Alexa world traffic rank of 1,000,000 or lower, but this is not critical.
(5) The name should be short (around ten letters or less, with no numbers or dashes), and very relevant, like bestwebs.com, webkings.com, etc. The critical idea is that the name should imply that the best web sites are to be found at the directory.
(6) It's a BIG plus if the domain name gets a high number of exact Google search matches every month, something like 250,000+ in the US, and/or 2,500,000+ worldwide. There is no problem if this requirement is not met, but it will be the most important factor in determining how much I'm willing to pay for the domain.

My budget is flexible, but figure on around $1,000-$1,500 if condition (6) is not met, and considerably more if condition (6) is met.

Could you give an example of a site that meets your criteria?

The keyword in the domain Websites.com [websites] gets 90,500 exact Google searches globally, and WebDirectory.com [web directory] gets 27,100 exacts globally.

I'm really struggling to find a domain name, even a theoretical one, that fulfils your requirements.

Hi Ty,

Depending on how my search goes, if you own Websites.com or WebDirectory.com, we might be able to do a deal.

The problem I'm having is that so many names I like are all taken by people who are not selling. I've tried to buy a couple, but so far with no success (either the owner wouldn't respond or the owner is using the domain for an active web site).

I'm looking for something that says "here is where the best web sites are". Some theoretical examples (these are all taken):

bestweb.com
bestwebs.com
webking.com
webkings.com
websbest.com
bestsites.com

I think you get the idea: short, easy to say and type, and implies this is where to go to get links to the best web sites.
