wordpress help

Hi guys,

Been playing around with wordpress knocking a few mini sites up with google ads on them, however i am now stuck.

I have tried adding an affiliate banner to one, (code below a little edited) and it shows noting, but on view source its there, in the text area.

Any help would be great as i have no idea.

Tried it on a site of mine and never showed either, so not a theme error. I'd say it's the tradedoubler code or their blocking it.

You have 2 Tradedoubler scripts on the page, but in one of them, the one that's missing, it has this extra bit in bold text & # 8 2 1 6 ; ) ; after the </a> in the code below, try it without that bit as the other banner doesn't have that and is displaying.:

The same as Rush above, I can see the skyscraper banner on the right, I assume there should be another one within the main part of the page?

the banner on the right is in a text widget, that works fine, its the banner in the body that isnt shwoing.

I saved your source code to my desktop and removed that bit of bold text in my post above so that it now looks like this on notepad:

Instead of it looking like this previously:

<img src="'+uri+'" border=0></a> [B]& # 8 2 1 6 ;[/B] ) ;
</script>

I removed & # 8 2 1 6 ; which is html code for a ' and replaced that code with a ' typed normally, saved it and now it shows the horizontal banner in the body of the page like this:

Strange one, in the editor this is how it reads. Number changed.

@ Lee, when I go to your website and view the page source code, this is what I see, it shows 2 Tradedoubler scripts in red text:



The top script of the 2 is for the banner that is missing, it has this bit of html in that script, & # 8 2 1 6 (<< have to add spaces or the forum changes it to a ')

Yo, yes, in the source it shows the numbers, however in the WP editor it shows like the above image i attached no numbers. Do you get what i mean?

BTW, love 419 eater, tried baiting them so many times, just never seems to come off for me. You had any?

I see, I haven't used WP or their editors before, so I was thinking something might have been wrong somewhere, hope you find a solution to the problem.

You a member on eater then? I'm one of the moderators on there, been a member for 5 years now. Plenty of good baits along the way, it's juts a case of getting the scammer off their script in order to have success with them, I have a few of my better baits posted on my site here:

In particular, see the bait on there called the "village people scammer", he's the Nigerian scammer who I have been baiting since December 2006, he thinks I'm President George Bush :lol:

I had him and his church members do a re-make of the classic YMCA song and video it and send the video to the UK for me , see it on YouTube here:

And this is the same scammer singing Summer Holiday, after that song ends, the second part of the video is where I got him to to a screen test for a new movie, so he had to re-enact part of a Dirty harry film, the bus hijack scene, both on this video:

Found a way round it, simply create a text link, copy the image and just link em up like on the gala page.
