Wordpress theme recommendations

Looking for really clean wordpress theme suitable for minisites - so page based rather than post based. Any suggestions?

Most of the themes i have seen are more blog style (post) based. However the templates are really easy to change (if you know a bit of css), so I would just find one you like and doctor it.

i'm guessing you do want to post (seo reasons) and to appear on sub pages rather than on the front page all the time.

Click settings - Reading and change the properties to reflect how you want post to be made.
Obviously make the pages first. This then gives it a more website look and control rather than posting to the home page each time. Any help?

Also why not design or get one designed and I can get it seamlessly made to a WP site for you. You get exactly what you want then!

Yeah I have used Brian's theme's for PCs and Lease Cars and find them good value for money.

Be careful on what you use as a minority of themes do have malicious coding in the it.

I agreed "hidden codes".... recently I uploaded one for Musicevents .org

and a day later when I checked on google it's showing all spam words link drug names.....

still haven't got it fixed yet, any ideas where will it be hidden? it's showing up the same rubbish on yahoo as well :cry:

Delete site and mysql ..............restart from scratch on another theme Not worth the messing and risk of missing thing.

is there a wp theme creator out there?

ok people avoid qualitywordpress.com they have hidden codes and it messed up my google listings, also they changed user cookies and it redirect to their ad popups

You mean an automated theme generator, or someone who knows their way round WP themes?

I'm the latter... much as I'd like to be automated!

My main site is based on RevolutionTheme, and I've a developer license for their use... even better now they're not available any more. Just OS new ones.

Help....

I had added that hacked one to my adsense account and recorded no earnings since.... it's showing Page eCPM values but no clicks or earnings.... could my whole adsense account been hacked?????

They might have change the Adsense with in the site theme coding to their account so they are getting revenue. maybe

Check the Google ID or PUB# on the sites - e.g.pub-12345678912345

I had done some reading and yes that's what they do, I hav seen changed the theme, if it still continue, I night have to take it down and start from scratch.

what I meanth is something like dreamweaver for wp, where you can create your own template for dummies like me

Takwa, better remove the whole database and site...then start a fresh one.

Here is the only site where you can create your own WP themes... It's not impressive but is pretty easy to use

P.S. - Also...as a bit of advice...when you download a wp theme , try doing it from the author website rather than these template directories...

Takwa - I definitely would start from scratch if I were you mate.

On the subject of a template creator - if anyone wants anything specific, let me know. My plan in to create a few free wordpress templates for download and I'm happy to do them to someone elses rough design, just as long as you don't mind it being available for others to download, and don't need it in a rush

Not sure what you mean by "the org one" but I presume it's about the URL below, right?

You can download as many themes as you like from wordpress...those are not dodgy as much as I know.
