So i stroll through my Spam email and noticed someone in need, while i can't help her im sure one of my fellow Acorner's would love ... and i quote "US$4000000 million"!!

wow....get in there quick. I'd open by telling her a bit about yourself. Talk about your first pet and you Mothers maiden name....that sort of thing

haha i had to think for a minute if it could be genuine... i mean you often get people offering you US$4000000 million haha... The issue is, clearly these scammers would not waste time sending these emails if they did not work, so how many people actually do fall victim to this?!

Its insane. I remember a few years back they got a guy for spamming in Virginia I seem to remember from just down the road from where my Mrs is from. Turns out he was responsible for sending about 10% of the worlds spam at that time for Viagra / Cialis...that sort of stuff. Now... turns out from the 0.00001% of people that did order, he was making millions upon millions. Someone here might remember and actually have the stats.

The unfortunate thing is its usually the vunerable that get humped.

"When you're marketing to the world, there are enough idiots out there" – from experience, I can tell you that this is a true statement. The key is to create that urgency. Not everybody will act on it, but the ones that do, really will.

Yep. Love the fact that he changed his name legally to "Hugo Boss" to prove a point also.
