:confused:1&1 tell me there is no charge for transfering a .com
If they mean they don't charge , why dont they say.
If nominet charge £10 to transfer a co.uk, I would have thought a .com would at least twice as much.
Where can I find out what the charges would be?

Sorry I misread your post.

.com's generally charge the cost of registering a new year onto the domain.

The thing is, If I sell a co.uk, I can tell the buyer they will have to pay £10 Nominet fees!
How much do I say has to be paid for .com and to who is it paid?

There is no transfer charge when transferring a .com - what the new registrant will have to do is pay for the next year's registration fee. Otherwise, the only charges they face is the payment to the seller and any escrow/legal fees.
