I read that as he knew who the gmail account belong to and therefore refused the offer, rather than refusing it because it was a gmail enquiry. But I could be wrong.

Really meant that someone comes in with a random gmail account and offers 87k on a name first offer. I am inclined to think it' not real. Of course I replied but no response and didn't follow it up.

Tend to get a few gmail enquiries that are obviously fake etc

I think more worrying is the amount of people who would turn it down wanting more
