My recommendation goes to TSOHOST.co.uk
Webhost.UK.Net using them from last 4 years I will say they are reliable and cost-effective.

On the flip side you may want to know who might not be recommended. Looking further into the threads and posts on here will give you general idea of which hosting company to consider. One that I wouldn't give a recommendation to is Heart Internet.
