Couldn't find a suitable section to post this in, so thought I would post in general.

A member on here requested a catch in the drop catching forum a couple of months ago, asking for members to PM him. I contacted requesting details and was advised of the domain and price. I failed to catch the domain and advised the member who it was caught by.

A couple of weeks later, the member sent me a private message requesting some other domains that spread over around six weeks. I was given a price of £100 by the member per domain pair, and asked to catch.

All were renewed except one, and I caught both the .co.uk and .uk.

I've sent the member two PMs advising of my success, but not received any response. They aren't active on here often, it can go a few days before the member logs in again. The member has logged in a day or so after sending each PM.

The caught domains are of no value to me, but as mentioned, was offered £100 for each domain pair. It's frustrating that the member contacted me to catch and now won't respond. Is there anything else I can do to reach out to the member?

It's getting towards invoice time, so I'm just tempted to issue delete commands.

Any advice appreciated.

I suspect you may struggle to get in touch with them unless you know of any other domains they own. Shame they haven't followed through though, are they long-term member here?

Personally, I'd just wait a few days then delete them, but then again, maybe that is what they are hoping; and even more likely now you've mentioned it here :D

Throw the domains you've got up for sale here for £100 , if you get any bites you've not lost out.

The member joined approximately 12 months ago, and has only just reached double digits in posts.

I don't know of any domains the member owns, otherwise I'd have had something to go on!

Unfortunately it's the nature of the beast. I have at least 20 unpaid invoices from people who think it's alright to use your quota and catch and then later ignore all correspondence (yet some post regularly on the forum). Delete the domains and add him to a list of people you will never deal with again.
