Recently picked this up, Was going to develop a classical music website, but might just move domain on? Any ideas or advice?

Cheers

To an end user it's a mid x,xxx name all day long, maybe even more!

It is brandable for Classic - could even have a second-hand car dealer character "Classic Al".

But using it for Classical music makes more sense.

Worth noting that the most natural two word competitor classicalmusic.co.uk redirects through to Classic FM's .com site, so there's no risk of confusion.

It's a very strong name, but building a site to match (given the massive range of classical music) is near impossible. Personally, I'd buy a couple of Classical Music magazines, and look for companies advertising in there that have a decent site but a daft web address.

I think for Classical Music - definitely a goer. I nearly bought this myself when WB advertised.

Trouble is to compete in the classical music market you'll need to throw an awful lot of money at a site development? :)

Try the BEEB, Classic FM, etc?

This, or try pitching it to the site mentioned in the thread you bought it from.

Thanks for all your feedback! Much appreciated, might move it on through domain lore or sedo?

Cheers
:)
