Thanks to @birajstuladhar as well, he made it seem easy
I just checked and you have to pay for an API key on openai, not sure why people would pay for that, when you can sign in to Grok.com and use it for free, same on Twitter where it's free to use.
okay. Makes a bit more sense. As long as it doesn't start happening in sales threads whem people post domains for sale. I can see that not going down too well. Might be worth disabling in sales threads.
I personally wouldn't pay for credits for something I'm almost certainly not going to use in the forum, I don't give money to Musk either so I don't have things like blue checkmarks on Twitter.
As someone else mentioned above, I hope it's not going to be a case of someone lists a domain/s for sale on the forum, and someone asks Grok for the value of the domains, and Grok posts it's response in the sales thread offering the domains for sale?
No automated appraisal system has ever been, or ever will be, relevant. All domains have different values depending on buyer and seller motivations.
Have you ever tagged @Grok at X/Twitter to double chek the facts?
No, I've never done that, tagging @Grok is a paid feature which would mean giving money to Musk.
another cool feature @Admin and @birajstuladhar will be working on >> integrating /gpt and /grok (and future models) in direct messages..
Again, may just be me being a luddite, but why would that be needed for direct messages ? My experience with dms is:
Person 1 - How much are you after for the domain ?
Person 2 - £50,000
Person 1- My budget is £100
Person 2 - can you do £25000 ? etc etc
No grok needed there![]()
