I am looking for pet related domain names:

1. I need a highly brandable pet domain name for the main shop. I am open for suggestions here...

2. I also need several keyword rich pet related domains that have a minimum of 500 monthly exact local UK searches. This would be things like dogfood.co.uk etc.

Budget is depending on what is on offer but would range from £xx up to low £x,xxx for the right name.

Hi Warren,

I follow Lyndon Antcliff on twitter, he's very good at creating linkbait. He was recently saying that he has some pet-related domains which have had successful linkbait campaigns already run on them, which he is selling.

Not sure of the quality of names/links but could be worth your time getting in touch.

Thanks for all the offers, (some pretty good names in there), I will respond to the pms later today, but please keep the offers coming. The brandable domain we need will be decided by several people, so the more suggestions the better...

A couple of things that may not have been clear from my original post are:

1. I might buy more than one domain name if the prices and the domains are right. However, please include your minimum price when you send me an offer. This is especially true for for keyword domains as the price in relation to the keyword/number of searches will often determine if I am interested or not (although of course the quality of the domain and the type of product matters).

2. I am only interested in .co.uk domains (or possibly .com), so no .org.uk, me.uk etc. (sorry about not making this clear from the beginning).

3. I originally felt pretty sure that the brandable domain should have something with the word "pet" or "pets" in it, but I am glad I didn't state this as a requirement because there are some pretty good suggestions coming through that I would never have thought of. ;)

DoggieStyler.com (unforgettable!)
GreyhoundBreeders.com
HorseShuttle.com
HorseShuttles.com
PupsUK.com
VetsUK.com
ukPetCare.com

Open to offers within your budget.

Cheers.

Jaffaman.

Hi Warren.

A friend and I have WebPets.co.uk

No hurry to sell but we'd certainly be open to a good offer.

Am in Greece at the moment and would need to discuss it with him when (if the way things are going here !) I get back on monday, but we did agree we'd consider selling it.

Cheers.

Just a quick update.

I have had loads of PMs including some with good offers. I have been really bad at responding...sorry about that! :( As soon as we have had a chance to discuss all the potential domains we have been offered I will start to get back to people. This should be sometime this week.

Final update on this.

I have now bought the domain we are going to use for the brand, and I have also picked-up a couple of keyword product domains. We are still willing to consider getting a few more, but budget is now fairly depleted... If you would like to propose any more pet keyword domains only these are of interest:

- Pet product related keyword domains like "cat food" or "dog food" etc. Only domains that describe an actual product that most pet shops would sell.

- No trademark domains.

- Only .co.uk domains

- Have to have a decent exact UK search volume to be of interest

- Must be competitively priced!

A big thanks to everyone who took the time to send offers via PM and here. :)

I have PuppyPads, caught it while training my bulldog, the little fugly thing was a brat with them.

No price in mind, I don't like selling my names so never ever price them. Really need to stop being a horder :P

dogfoodbowl and dogfoodbowls both .co.uk

Sensible price will be considered, recent reg for development but open to offers.

Aiden
