noob alert!

My registrar gives me the option of presenting my forwarded webpage in a "frame"..

in other words:

a user types in abc.co.uk
and is forwarded to a parking page
but instead on the url being ....... ndparking/....... it will say abc.co.uk

now my question is, does anyone have experience of doing this, and by the fact that the user isn't presented with a "strange url" that they didn't type in, does it in anyway increase clicks?

thanks in advance

I've just started parking my unused domains with Namedrive.

I always use framed forwarding to leave typedinaddress.co.uk in their browser bar.

I can't say if it makes a difference, but i think it helps.

I have also been using the frame option, in sedo, otherwise you're just advertising sedo/namedrive/etc up there instead of your domain name.

I also forward the page title so the browser says something like 'great all-round domain name for sale' or the like, at the top.

As I'm a newb too this may not be the best way to do things but it seems best for the mo.

If you frame, on MSN search you will see this

"mydomain.co.uk

yadda..yadda....yadda... Sorry, you don't appear to have frame support. Go here instead -

* www.mydomain.co.uk"

I am really put off by that, so I use Non-framed web-forwarding,

If it goes to a parking page what is shown in the browser bar don't matter.

I will still show.......ndparking/mydomain.co.uk

not sure if NameDrive does the same, but i dont use forwarding at all.

i change my NameServers to ns1.sedoparking.com (or whatever they are :))

i found my traffic improved when i did this.
