I moved over a 100 domains to ND from Sedo.

seems MSN took offence, can't find hardly a one in search.

the few that do show are bare bone "www.mydomain.co.uk/com"

some are years old and were resolving before !

'sup ND?

i would like to know this as well - lots of my sedo domains seem to be on MSN but so far (still checking some) cant see any of my ND domains?
search phrase: "domainname.co.uk"

I've also noticed that one of my ND parked domains keeps showing in msn as 'this ip has been banned' every so often??

Also, on a different issue, can we please please please have a 'keep me logged in' option when logging into ND, it's driving me insane having to login with my email address every time?

Cheers, Grant

Hmm. Strange this one. I've not heard about it before but I'll get tech to look into it.

As far as the IP is concerned, this is because the search engines are basically spamming our pages when they spider them and the IP gets blocked for too much action on our system. We're looking into a work-around for this.

I'll get that 'stay logged in' thing. I know that others have asked for it so I'll see if I can get it up before the weekend.

they do resolve though, right?

It does resolve yes, just that the domain in question is number one in msn for a couple of terms - when the descriptions displays 'this IP has been banned' it loses about a third of its daily clicks.

this on Google now !

This IP has been banned
This IP has been banned.
mydomain.co.uk/

parked on ND

Hi again,

I had a chat over the weekend with our CTO and he confirmed what I basically said on Friday. The implementation which Google has asked that we use to ensure our pages aren't crawling with spiders actually blocks the way that they spider our pages, meaning you get the banned IP thing. Two weeks ago, we got a white list of Google's IPs which they use to do this meaning this will hopefully cut this out in the future. It seems the same is happening with MSN and our tech guys are looking for a workaround it.

I don't want to nag.... but is this coming any time soon?!?! ;-)

Do nag, do.

I've been nagging about this for 10 days now. Having a nagging post on a forum is always an excellent thing to point people to and say 'chop chop'...

Which is precisely what I'm doing now.
